Executive Team
The Executive Team lead on ARIA's strategy and operations, and have combined startup, non-profit, corporate and public sector expertise.
Kathleen Fisher
Chief Executive Officer
Kathleen joins ARIA from RAND, where she founded a centre applying AI and formal methods to cybersecurity. She previously led DARPA’s Information Innovation Office, overseeing 50+ programmes, and earlier ran the groundbreaking HACMS programme. She holds a PhD from Stanford and is an AAAS and ACM Fellow.
Pippy James
Chief Product Officer
Pippy was previously founder and CEO of a women’s health startup. She was also Global Product Manager at Entrepreneur First, which supports the creation of technology companies internationally.
Mike Tsang
Interim Chief Finance Officer
Mike joined ARIA from the Francis Crick Institute, where he built out their finance team through a rapid growth phase. He started his career in Big Four financial services audit before moving to the non-profit sector. Mike is Director of Finance at ARIA and is currently acting as interim CFO.
Ant Rowstron
Chief Technology Officer
Ant is a computer scientist, engineer, and systems researcher with more than two decades’ experience at Microsoft, where he built and led interdisciplinary teams to pioneer disruptive technologies, advance robotics, and drive breakthroughs in AI hardware innovation.
Dan Cole
Chief of Staff
Dan served as COO at UK healthtech startup Accurx, which supported the care of over 50 million NHS patients. Prior to this, Dan worked in strategy consulting focusing on sustainability.
